I absolutely love to draw her dresses. Probably as much as I hate Mal's hair.

Less drama, more pirates! 

This one is older. I liked Mal as a seal, but I have to admit that on the upper one he looks much cuter. Cute, little, bloodthirsty demon.

 

Rough pages from the prologue of Dark Waters. I drew it before I decided to change the main character from sea lion to asian otter ;). Well, both ways looked good for me, but the otter is a lot easier to draw.

Also I remember how difficult it was to fit Silvereye (the cat) to the frames. He's just too big ;).

Pirates are not gentlemen, really.
